Celebrating it’s 13th anniversary, DMSQ is a professional saxophone quartet based in Toronto, Canada. Henry Gluch (soprano saxophone), Michele Jacot (alto saxophone), Peter Voisey (tenor saxophone) and Pam Fong (baritone saxophone) founded the group in 2006 to perform music written or arranged for saxophone quartet. The group has performed in varied settings from traditional concert stages to collaborative multi-media performances. DMSQ is a synthesis of the talents of its members, trained and versatile woodwind players with extensive experience performing in all types of ensembles.
DMSQ, or Dimanche Matin Saxophone Quartet, is named after a Sunday morning ritual that includes French impressionist music, coffee, Baileys and, of course, saxophones.
